ALTSIREN AND THE MAGIC HELMET

AltSiren has been having bad headaches and decides to try something unusual: a geek has developed a helmet which promises to make any headache disappear in a blast. So she goes to his lab and finds out he asks quite the fee, but in the end they come to the agreement that if it doesn't work she will not have to pay.
AltSiren sits down, her head under the helmet, and the therapy begins. She is very skeptical and believes nothing is happening... But, at some point, the geek boosts the power up and AltSiren's head disappears! her arm flops down limp, and AltSiren's headless body remains seated, limp and unresponsive.
The geek moves on the front, has a look at that body; he takes her hands and inspects her rings. It's silver, he would like to get them, but she would notice. He starts to frisk the pockets looking for money, but finds none. So he opens her bag and takes her wallet out. he hides it in his drawers; during all this time, AltSiren's body remains cross legged and motionless, as without her head the fussy lady is unaware of what's going on.

Once the wallet is hidden and the bag put back in place, the geek restores AltSiren't head: the girl could not perceive the time which has passed, so from her perception she has been under for less than one minute. She is surprised when he tells her it's already done... but, actually, the headache is gone!
She is so happy, she jumps at her bag as she is happy to pay him, but she can't find her wallet... She feels confused, embarrassed... She is pretty sure she had the wallet with her, she keeps apologizing, and the geek makes it feel like she is trying to scam him as she doesn't want to pay...
